Swapcard alternative: Swapcard and Eventiqs compared

A module-by-module comparison based on Swapcard's own website, with what each platform covers, what only one of them covers and who each fits.

The information about Swapcard on this page comes only from swapcard.com, read on 28 October 2026. Products change over time, so check Swapcard's website for current details.

If you are looking for a Swapcard alternative, it helps to compare the two platforms area by area rather than by feature names. Swapcard names trade shows, conferences and associations as the main event types it serves (Why Swapcard) and describes registration, an event app, networking, exhibitor tools and analytics as parts of one platform (Swapcard platform overview). Eventiqs is a modular event platform for trade fairs, academic congresses, conferences and summits, and corporate events: 17 modules in four groups, one app for attendees on iOS, Android and the mobile web, and one panel for the organizer.

Below you will find a summary table, then each product area in detail, what only one side covers, and who each platform fits.

Registration

Swapcard describes registration flows with conditional logic, unlimited ticket types and pricing tiers, group and time-based pricing, and promo codes (Swapcard registration). Its advanced registration page names separate paths for attendees, exhibitors, speakers and VIPs, multiple payment gateways and membership checks through association management systems (Swapcard advanced registration). On its plans page, registration is a plan of its own, "Registration & Management Platform" (Swapcard plans).

Eventiqs Registration and Visitor Management gives your event a branded registration page with different fields per attendee category, invite lists, an approval flow and category-based access for attendees, exhibitors, hosted buyers and press. The profile and interest data collected at registration is what matching and personalization start from. Eventiqs does not sell tickets or take payments.

Attendee app

Swapcard describes one app on mobile and web that the organizer configures, with custom branding, a white-label option and several events in one app (Swapcard event app). The app page lists an interactive agenda with session recommendations, live polls, Q&A, chat and push notifications, and a separate page describes an interactive floor plan with exhibitor search and routing (Swapcard floor plan).

In Eventiqs, attendees use one app on iOS, Android and the mobile web. Speaker Flow shows the program by day and hall, My Calendar holds each person's sessions and meetings with reminders, My Travel shows flights and accommodation, and the Floor Plan marks halls, booths and service points. Smart Photo Sharing finds the event photos each consenting attendee appears in through AI face matching. You turn on only the modules your event needs.

Networking and matchmaking

Swapcard says its AI recommends people, sessions and exhibitors and adapts as attendees engage (Swapcard attendee engagement). Its networking page describes enriched profiles with matching criteria, an AI-curated attendee list filtered by role, interest, location and company size, pre-written connection messages and controls that limit excessive requests (Swapcard event networking).

Eventiqs Smart Matching weighs the profiles, goals and in-app activity of attendees and exhibitors and suggests who each person should meet. Every suggestion shows its reason and a match score. The Visitor Directory lists everyone by category and sector, and connection requests and in-app messaging let attendees talk without sharing contact details.

Meetings

Swapcard describes one-to-one and group meetings scheduled from shared availability, calendar sync and automatic release of unconfirmed slots (Swapcard event networking). For hosted buyer programs, buyers and sellers rank who they must meet, would like to meet or want to exclude, AI builds the schedules, and organizers review the matches before publishing (Swapcard hosted buyer).

In Eventiqs, an attendee sends a meeting request from a suggestion in one tap, and once the other side confirms, the meeting lands in both calendars with its table and time. Speed Networking runs planned meetings in a set session: you build a match matrix by round, table and time, edit it cell by cell and publish the agenda, and participants check in at the session by QR. Eventiqs also runs hosted buyer programs, with meetings planned before the fair and reported by the meetings that took place.

Exhibitor and sponsor tools

Swapcard describes an exhibitor management portal for registration and packages, with staff roles that exhibitors manage up to event day (Swapcard exhibitor portal). Its sponsor tools include homepage spotlights, sponsored session banners and targeted in-app placements, reported by impressions and clicks (Swapcard exhibitor and sponsor tools).

In Eventiqs, sponsors and exhibitors get a company page with logo, sponsorship tier, booth details, products and catalogs, and attendees can contact their representatives and request meetings. Sponsor placements add banners on the home and Explore screens, sponsored company cards at the top of the list and sponsored push notifications, with results reported per sponsor and exhibitor.

Lead capture

Swapcard describes lead capture from a mobile device by badge scanning, lead scoring from interactions and interests, sync to a sales CRM and capture that works offline and syncs later (Swapcard lead capture). Its exhibitor page adds leads tracked from meetings, profile visits and chat messages (Swapcard exhibitor and sponsor tools).

Eventiqs lead capture works two ways: exhibitors photograph a printed business card and the app reads the name, company, title, phone and email, or they scan an attendee's personal QR code. Each connection takes notes and tags, and all of them export to Excel at the end of the event. Eventiqs does not score leads or sync them to a CRM.

Check-in and badges

Swapcard describes contactless check-in kiosks, badge printing by QR scan, bulk and at-home printing, and QR codes sent by email or as a mobile wallet pass (Swapcard check-in). Its access control page names entry and exit checkpoints, zones such as VIP areas and exhibitor halls, and offline scanning (Swapcard access control).

Entrance check-in and badge printing are not among the Eventiqs modules. Eventiqs uses QR for connections between attendees and for check-in at speed networking sessions.

Analytics and communication

Swapcard describes one dashboard with live metrics for registration, active users, session attendance and networking, downloadable reports, and an analytics API with webhooks (Swapcard analytics). For communication, it lists automated emails before, during and after the event, segmentation by behavior and interests, scheduled push notifications, and open and click rates (Swapcard communication tools).

Eventiqs Analytics and Reporting shows live indicators such as active users, meetings, QR scans and messages, and reports visitor, sponsor and exhibitor performance separately. Communication sends email and push by category or person, runs scheduled reminder flows and reports delivery and click rates for every send.

What only one side covers

On the pages read for this comparison, Swapcard describes these areas, which Eventiqs does not offer:

Eventiqs covers these areas, which the Swapcard pages read for this comparison do not describe:

  • My Travel: flight and accommodation details for each guest in the app.
  • Smart Photo Sharing: AI face matching that finds each consenting attendee's event photos and shares them with the event and sponsor frame.

Both sides cover speed networking: Swapcard's networking page says it supports speed networking and structured one-to-one formats (Swapcard event networking).

Which one fits you?

Swapcard, as its website describes it, fits organizers of trade shows, conferences and associations who want registration with ticket sales, onsite check-in and badges, networking and exhibitor tools in one platform, across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats, and who need CRM sync.

Eventiqs fits organizers of in-person trade fairs, congresses, conferences and corporate events who want networking and the full attendee experience in one app, from program and calendar to travel and photos, with the app in Turkish and English and support in Turkish. It has been used at events in Türkiye such as EMITT 2026, with 3,500+ planned B2B meetings and 28,000+ visitors (EMITT 2026 case study). Platform data is stored in AWS Frankfurt and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Frequently asked questions

Is Eventiqs a Swapcard alternative?

For in-person trade fairs, congresses, conferences and corporate events, yes. Swapcard's website also describes ticket sales, badge printing, access control and virtual events, which are not among the Eventiqs modules.

How does matchmaking differ between Swapcard and Eventiqs?
